You’ll need to make your own way to your accommodation. During the wedding celebrations, however, we’ll take care of getting you between the venues and back to your accommodation.

We’ll coordinate shared transfers throughout the celebrations, grouping guests staying in the same area and sending you your pickup time before each event.

Our transfer cars will run throughout the celebrations and into the evening, so whether you’d like to leave early or stay until the very end, you’ll always have a way to get back to your accommodation.

If you’d prefer to make your own way, we’ll also share the details of a trusted local car service. There is parking available at the venues, although parking at the Welcome Party is limited. If you do choose to drive, please ensure you have a designated driver who won’t be drinking.

We know our little corner of France is a bit off the beaten track, but we promise it's worth the journey! There are a few easy ways to reach us, depending on where you're travelling from.

Option 1 – Fly to Paris + Train
Why not make a trip of it? Spend a day enjoying Paris before taking the high-speed TGV train to Mâcon-Loché TGV station. From there, it's just a 10-minute taxi ride to the wedding area.

Option 2 – Fly to Lyon
This is the most direct option. From Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport, you can either hire a car or arrange a private transfer to your accommodation in the area.

Option 2 – Fly to Geneva
Geneva is a little further away but often has better international flight connections, making it a great option for guests travelling from overseas. From there, you can hire a car or arrange a private transfer.

We'll be sharing recommended transport providers, taxi numbers, and transfer information closer to the wedding to make your journey as smooth as possible.

We recommend arriving on Friday in time for welcome drinks and departing after the pool party on Sunday (or Monday if guests want to extend their stay and continue the party with us).

You're very welcome to bring your little ones to France. However, all of our wedding celebrations will be adults only.

If you're travelling with children, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare during the events. There are plenty of local babysitting and nanny services available, and we'll be happy to recommend trusted providers.

If you're making a long weekend or holiday of it, you're in for a treat. The region is full of beautiful vineyards, charming villages, incredible food, and stunning countryside.

We'd recommend exploring the local villages of Vergisson, Fuissé, Cluny, and Mâcon, enjoying a long lunch at one of the many local restaurants, visiting a winery for a tasting, or simply taking in the scenery with a glass of Burgundy wine.

We'll also be putting together a list of our favourite places to eat, drink, and explore to help you make the most of your trip.

July in Burgundy is usually warm, sunny, and perfect for long days outdoors. You can expect daytime temperatures of around 25–35°C, although it can get even hotter.

We'll be spending plenty of time outside, so we recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable footwear, and a light layer for later in the evening if it cools down.
